Ghachowk is approximately 30 minutes from Lakeside by taxi or motorbike. We can arrange pickup for retreats and teacher training programs. The short journey takes you from tourist chaos to peaceful village life - the setting that serious yoga practice requires.
October-November offers the clearest Himalayan views and perfect weather. March-May is also excellent with spring warmth. We operate year-round, though monsoon season (June-September) has more rain. Morning classes with sunrise over the mountains are magical year-round.
A general yoga retreat includes daily yoga sessions, guided meditation, kirtan (holy chanting), spiritual discussions, and 3 vegetarian meals. Airport pickup/drop and spa massage are available on request.
