Beginner Yoga FAQs

Absolutely! Our Yoga for Beginners class is specifically designed for people with no prior experience. We start with the basics and progress gradually. The instructor provides modifications and personal attention to help you learn proper alignment from the start.
Your first class will begin with gentle warm-ups, followed by basic yoga postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), and end with relaxation. The instructor explains each pose clearly and helps you find comfortable positions. Classes are 60-90 minutes with plenty of rest.
Not at all! Yoga is about improving flexibility gradually, not starting flexible. Our beginner classes are designed to help you build flexibility over time. We offer props and modifications to make poses accessible for all body types and flexibility levels.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement (leggings, shorts, t-shirt). We provide yoga mats, blocks, straps, and blankets. Bring water (filtered water available) and an open mind. For morning classes, bring a light layer.
For beginners, 2-3 times per week is ideal to build strength, flexibility, and familiarity with poses. Consistency matters more than intensity. Even one class per week will show benefits within a few weeks.
