1-3 Months of Dedicated Practice

Long-Term Spiritual Retreat

For those ready to go deeper. Extended immersion in yoga practice, sattvic living, and contemplative life in the Himalayan mountains.

When You're Ready to Go Deep

Week-long retreats offer transformation; extended retreats offer fundamental change. Our Long-Term Spiritual Retreat is for practitioners ready to dedicate significant time to practice - whether as a sabbatical, a life transition, or preparation for teaching.

This isn't a vacation. It's a structured program of daily yoga, meditation, philosophy study, and karma yoga (selfless service). You'll live simply, rise early, eat purely, and practice consistently. The results match the commitment.

Nepal's visa structure allows 90-day tourist stays, making extended retreat possible. The affordable cost of living means your resources go further. The mountain environment supports the depth you're seeking.

Really nice spot to stay some days in Pokhara in between trekkings. Lovely yoga classes from Deepika 2 times a day. Oasis of peace with little garden in the center of Pokhara near the lakeside.

Retreat FAQs

Practitioners ready for serious commitment: sabbatical seekers, life-transition individuals, aspiring teachers, or anyone called to extended practice. Not for those seeking vacation yoga.
Nepal offers 90-day tourist visas with possibility of extension. We provide guidance on visa requirements. For 3-month programs, plan for potential visa renewal.
The program is immersive. Weekly free time allows for local exploration. Extended travel breaks not recommended until program end, as they disrupt the rhythm and depth.
Work as spiritual practice. You'll contribute to the community: helping with classes, cooking, cleaning, or community projects. This isn't free labor - it's integral to yogic development.
The program is designed as complete immersion. We strongly encourage committing to your chosen duration. Early departure for emergencies understood; elective early departure means forfeiting remaining program.
The long-term retreat provides excellent foundation for teaching, though it's not a certified teacher training. Many graduates go on to complete formal YTT. You'll gain the personal practice depth that makes great teachers.
No. The immersion requires full presence. Remote work would defeat the purpose. This is dedicated time away from normal obligations for spiritual development.
Graduates join our global community of practitioners. Many stay in touch, share practice insights, and return for future programs. Some become assistant teachers or help with retreats in their home countries.
The program includes philosophy from yogic texts (Patanjali, Bhagavad Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika) which have spiritual roots. However, the teachings are universal principles of human development, not religious dogma. People of all faiths and none benefit.
