Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before booking any of our yoga programs or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Yoga in Pokhara website (yogainpokhara.com) and booking any of our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Offered
Yoga in Pokhara offers the following services:
- Daily yoga classes (drop-in and regular attendance)
- Yoga teacher training programs (100-hour, 200-hour, 300-hour)
- Yoga retreats (weekend, week-long, and custom durations)
- Private yoga sessions
- Wellness programs (singing bowl courses, spiritual counselling, Ayurvedic treatments)
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Reservations
Bookings can be made through our website contact form, email, or WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed only after you receive written confirmation from us and payment of any required deposit.
3.2 Deposits
For retreats and teacher training programs, a deposit is required to secure your spot. Deposit amounts vary by program and will be specified at the time of booking.
3.3 Payment Methods
We accept bank transfers, Wise (TransferWise), PayPal for international deposits, and cash (USD, EUR, or NPR) upon arrival in Nepal. Payment terms will be provided with your booking confirmation.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Cancellations by You
- 30+ days before start: Full refund minus any processing fees
- 15-30 days before start: 50% refund of total amount paid
- Less than 15 days before start: No refund, but deposit may be applied to future dates within 1 year
All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
4.2 Cancellations by Us
In the unlikely event that we must cancel a program, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another program date. We are not responsible for additional costs such as flights or accommodation outside our center.
5. Health and Safety
5.1 Health Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring you are in good health and physically able to participate in yoga classes and programs. Please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations before booking.
5.2 Assumption of Risk
Participation in yoga activities involves inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Yoga in Pokhara, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during your participation.
6. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to:
- Respect instructors, staff, and fellow participants
- Arrive on time for classes and sessions
- Follow safety instructions and modifications
- Maintain appropriate behavior during programs
- Respect the peaceful environment of our center and Ghachowk village
We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these standards without refund.
7. Travel and Visas
You are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel documents, visas, and travel insurance. We recommend travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and activities in Nepal. We can provide guidance on visa requirements but are not responsible for visa issues.
8. Accommodation
Accommodation is included in retreat and teacher training packages as specified. For drop-in classes, accommodation is not included, but we can provide recommendations. We are not responsible for issues with third-party accommodation providers.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and course materials, is the property of Yoga in Pokhara and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yoga in Pokhara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
