4 Days of Sound, Oil & Deep Rest
Sound Healing & Ayurvedic Retreat
Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls and gong, warm herbal oil massage chosen to suit your dosha, gentle yoga and sattvic food. A short, unhurried reset in Ghachowk village near Pokhara.
Two Old Healing Traditions, Four Quiet Days
The Sound Healing and Ayurvedic Retreat is a short, restful stay in Ghachowk, near Pokhara, drawing on two traditional practices. Sound therapy uses the tones of Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls and gongs to help release tension and guide the mind into stillness. Ayurvedic massage works alongside it, using warm herbal oils and techniques chosen to suit your individual constitution, or dosha.
Over four days you are guided through an unhurried rhythm of healing practices, gentle yoga, sattvic meals and rest. The retreat is intentionally small, with limited places, so each person receives proper individual care from the practitioners.
It suits both newcomers to sound healing and Ayurveda and those who already know these practices and want a calm few days to return to them. The ashram sits away from the city at 1,320 m in Ghachowk village, in the lap of the holy mountain Machhapuchhre, with food grown mostly on a local organic farm.
