8 Days / 7 Nights of Energy Work

Chakra Workshop & Healing Retreat

A structured study of the seven chakras, the energy centres of the traditional yogic and tantric system. One full day is given to each chakra, so you explore each one properly rather than skimming the whole system in an afternoon.

Balance Your Seven Chakras

The 8 day Chakra Workshop and Healing Retreat is a structured study of the seven chakras, the energy centres described in the traditional yogic and tantric system. Held in Ghachowk, near Pokhara, the retreat is built so that one full day is given to each chakra, which allows for genuine depth rather than a quick overview.

Each day combines teaching on a chakra with practice. That means chakra-focused yoga sequences, pranayama, mantra chanting, sound work, colour visualisation, and meditation, so you study each centre and also work with it directly. The chakra system is presented here as a traditional framework for understanding the body, mind, and emotions, and as a lens for self-reflection, rather than as a medical model.

The retreat suits complete beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Enrolment is kept small so each person gets real individual attention, and you leave with a workbook and a set of practices you can continue at home.

What You Study and Practise

A Day for Each Chakra

The week moves through the chakras in order, from Muladhara (root) and its themes of stability and security to Sahasrara (crown) and practices for stillness and expanded awareness.

Theory Paired with Practice

Each chakra is taught both as theory and through practice, so you understand the framework and work with it directly rather than only reading about it.

Chakra-Focused Hatha & Pranayama

Chakra-focused hatha yoga and pranayama every day, including breath work on Manipura (personal will and self-esteem) and heart-centred practice for Anahata.

Mantra, Sound & Visualisation

Mantra chanting for each energy centre, a sound healing session with Tibetan singing bowls, colour visualisation, guided meditation, and Trataka (candle gazing) for Ajna.

Small Group, Personal Attention

Enrolment is kept small, with personal attention from the teachers and a personal reflection and consultation session included.

Take the Practices Home

A chakra workbook and a certificate of completion, plus mudra (hand gesture) teachings and a set of practices you can continue after the retreat.

Really nice spot to stay some days in Pokhara in between trekkings. Lovely yoga classes from Deepika 2 times a day. Oasis of peace with little garden in the center of Pokhara near the lakeside.

Retreat FAQs

No. The retreat is open to complete beginners and to experienced practitioners. Each day's teaching starts from the basics of that chakra, and the yoga and meditation are guided throughout, so you can follow along whatever your level. Experienced practitioners get value from the depth of studying one chakra at a time.
The chakras are energy centres described in the traditional yogic and tantric system, used as a framework for understanding the body, mind, and emotions. This retreat teaches that system and works with it through yoga, mantra, and meditation. It is presented as a traditional teaching and a tool for self-reflection, not as a religion you need to belong to or convert to.
No, and we would rather be clear about that. The chakra work, sound sessions, and meditation are genuinely calming and many people find them grounding and insightful, but they are a traditional practice for self-awareness, not a medical treatment. If you have a health condition, please continue to follow your doctor's advice and treat this retreat as something that sits alongside that, not in place of it.
Each day focuses on one chakra and pairs teaching with practice: chakra-focused yoga and pranayama in the morning, teaching and practical work through the day, and a workshop in mantra, sound, or visualisation, with evening meditation. The retreat moves through the chakras in order, from the root chakra on the first full day to the crown chakra at the end.
The price covers 7 nights accommodation on the ashram in a shared or private room, three organic vegetarian meals a day, all teaching and practice sessions, a sound healing session, a personal consultation, a chakra workbook, a certificate of completion, and pickup and drop-off in Pokhara. It does not cover international flights or your Nepal visa.
International and domestic flights, your Nepal visa, personal expenses, and travel insurance are not included. Everything else, from sessions and sattvic meals to accommodation and free pickup from Pokhara airport or bus park, is covered.
A 20% advance of the total program fee confirms your booking. The remaining 80% is due on arrival, before the program begins. Exact bank details are shared by WhatsApp or email once your dates are confirmed.
All meals are organic, freshly prepared and vegetarian, following sattvic (yogic) dietary principles, with much of the produce coming from our own organic farm. Breakfast includes oats, fruits and herbal teas. Lunch is the main meal, dal bhat with seasonal vegetables. Dinner is lighter, with soups, bread or rice with vegetables. Vegan, gluten-free and allergy requirements are accommodated with advance notice.
